The Experience

Most People Drink Coffee Every Day. Very Few Actually Understand It.

This experience is designed to give you a practical understanding of specialty coffee — from how it's grown and processed to how roasting and brewing shape flavor.

It is not a technical cupping session. It is a guided tasting experience focused on clarity, confidence, and real-world application.

Over 60–75 Minutes, We Walk Through:

01

What Coffee Is & How It's Grown

Where coffee comes from, how it's cultivated, and why the farm matters before anything else.

02

Origin, Altitude & Flavor

How geography and growing conditions directly shape what ends up in your cup.

03

Processing Methods

The difference between washed, natural, and honey-processed coffees — and how each changes the flavor profile.

04

How Roasting Shapes Flavor

What happens to coffee during roasting and how roast level transforms the same bean into completely different cups.

05

Brewing & the Final Cup

How brewing method — espresso, pour-over, filter — affects extraction and why it matters for what you taste.

06

How to Choose Coffee Confidently

By the end, you'll be able to select coffee based on actual understanding — not guesswork or marketing language.

Taste as You Learn.

You'll taste multiple coffees prepared using different brewing methods — including espresso and manual brewing. As you taste, we connect each cup back to what you've learned.

The goal isn't to impress you with technique. It's to help you recognize how processing, roast level, and brewing method influence flavor — so the knowledge sticks.

By the end of the session, you'll be able to confidently choose coffee based on understanding, not guesswork.

"This is not a class. It is a conversation about coffee, led by someone who has spent years understanding it — and knows how to make that knowledge transferable."
