All coffee sold as whole bean.
Blueberry right away, then red wine and bergamot, settling into a fudge-like finish. If you've ever wondered why people get excited about natural Ethiopians, this is the bag that explains it.
Gara Agena is a washing station in Sidama, southern Ethiopia, where several hundred smallholder farmers deliver cherry grown at around 2,100 meters — and lots from Gara Agena have placed at Taste of Harvest, the annual competition for Africa's finest coffees. For this Grade 1 natural, the ripest cherries are hand-sorted and dried whole on raised beds, so the fruit sweetness works its way into the seed over several weeks.
Fruit-forward, sweet, and full. Brew it as a pour over, or pull it as espresso for something completely different.
